A Public-Private Partnership to Monitor Opinions on the Canadian-American Relationship
Beginning in the summer of 2005, Nanos Research (formerly SES Research) located in Ottawa, Canada and the University at Buffalo – The State University of New York, have entered into a partnership to monitor the state of the Canadian-American relationship as it is perceived by citizens on both sides of the border. The project imultaneously administers parallel surveys to representative samples of Canadian and American citizens on an annual basis. In doing so, we hope to provide insight into the relationship that will be of interest to policy-makers, the business community, and academics in both countries. As the project unfolds, this website will serve as an archive for the data we generate, and as a pointer to analysis and commentary that are based on the project.
